    National Association of Air Medical Communication Specialists (NAACS) Training Course

    Hosted by Children's Mercy Critical Care Transport and the National Association of Air Medical Communication Specialists

    This two day course will be filled with information specific to the field of Air Medical Communications, information such as history of air medical transport, navigational skills, map reading, post accident/incident planning, flight following, aviation weather, radio communications, public relations, and stress management are all covered extensively in this course.

    The NAACS training course is extremely helpful with fine-tuning our skills and developing better methods of preparation for the expected, as well as the unexpected in the communication center. This course also brings Communication Specialists together to share and learn new information on programs and equipment being developed for communicators.

    This course is not only for the new Air Medical Communication Specialists (ACS). It is also for the seasoned communicator. This course is structured around the NAACS Training Manual devised by experienced ACS and multiple other experts within the field. This course is concluded with a comprehensive test. Upon successful completion, the participant is awarded certification as a Certified Flight Communicator.
