1. Do I have to be a member of NAACS to be a CFC?
Not initially, after your initial class you must maintain your membership.
2. How long is my CFC good for?
The CFC certification is good for 4 years.
3. I don’t remember when I took my course, how do I find out?
Check your CFC certificate the date of your course is in the bottem right hand corner.
(Note: Please contact the Education Committee at least 6 months (if possible) before you expire to set up a time to take the re-test)
4. Do I have to attend another CFC course, an Advanced Course and AMTC to maintain
my certification?
No, you only have to attend one of the above functions (attend at least 5
communications tracts at AMTC with proof) or complete one CEU from the
website or newsletter each quarter. The CFC course cannot be the original course
it must be a different one.
5. How long is the retest for recertification?
The recertification exam is 50 questions and covers the same topics as the initial
exam.
6. Does NAACS keep track of my continuing education?
Currently we are not able to do this. We are investigating options to be able to do this.
