Recertification Process



 

 

32 hours/4 years

The recertification process is designed to be completed throughout a four year period; this must occur at a minimum rate of 8 credit hours per year.

You must have ANY combination below totaling 32 credit hours (8 credit hours per year throughout a 4 year period):

Up to (8 credit hours per year) from NAACS continuing education newsletter articles; (each article is worth 2 hours of continuing education credit at a cost of $5.00 per article.)

Up to (8 credit hours per year) for auditing a CFC course; (auditing includes full CFC Course attendance without completion of exam at a fee of $50.00 payable to NAACS

Up to (4 credit hours per year) in house training (this is training provided and verified by your company training officer; continuing education topics should be related to communication, safety, or other topics listed outlined in the NAACS training curriculum. 

    · Must be a member of NAACS during the entire four year recertification period

    · If recertifying early a new expiration date will be set

    · If recertifying within 3 months of expiration date original expiration date will be increased by 4 years

    · All recertification material will need to be faxed to NAACS for audit

    · There will be no test

    · Recertification fee of 50.00 to be included.

The recertification process commences on March 1st, 2008
