Recertification Process

Requirements:

  • Must be a paid member of NAACS during your 4 year certification period (membership will be verified).   Paid membership = payment of annual membership dues to NAACS.
  • Obtain a minimum of 32 hours of continuing education during your 4 year certification period.  All submitted hours must be topics outlined in the NAACS curriculum.  Those hours may be obtained by one of the following methods:
    • NAACS continuing education articles.  Each article is worth 2 hours of continuing education credit,
    • In-house company / program training (if using this method click here for the submission form)
    • OR,
    • Auditing of a NAACS CFC course.  Contact the NAACS Education committee for more information about this option.
    • No test will be administered or required if recertifying by one of these methods.
    • Recertification fee is $50.00
Once recertified, a new CFC certificate will be issued to you with an expiration date of 4 years from your current expiration (if recertification is done within 3 months of your current expiration; otherwise your expiration date will be 4 years from the current month of recertification).
